So - I want to know what they are feeding these construction workers.
This is what they got done yesterday and today.

This is the front of the house. The part that isn't plywood is the garage. Those big red box things in the front, those are our bathtubs.

This is the back of the house. The room with all the windows is called the
"morning room". It's basically a really BIG eat in kitchen area.

Here's some of the framing inside. The room in the corner is our 1st floor laundry room. For those of you who live in a house where you have to lug your laundry up 2, 3 maybe 4 flights of stairs, you will understand why tears came to my eyes when I saw this.

These pictures are mostly for the parents. But, it's also kind of fun to see
how fast they are bustin this thing out. We hope you are having as much fun as
we are seeing how fast they are doing everything.

Stephanie.....I tried...but failed...i didn't win the cookbook. Someone mentioned you would be willing to sell them? If so, put me down for 1. I think it's so cute...the pictures all looked so yummy. Sorry I'm a little obsessed with it at the moment....It's just very inspiring. Makes me want to cook so i can take pictures of the dishes and make my own cookbook!

Btw, it looks like the house is coming along quickly! how exciting...

Hi Stephanie. It's fun to see what you're up to these days. I found your blog from Sydney's blog and last night I made your caramel bars. Yummmmm! They are my new favorite treat, so thanks for the recipe. Good luck with the house. How fun! : )

Your house looks so great! I can't wait to come out and see it after you move in. I'm glad you are going to be close - not down the street, close - but driving distance, close.

Steph--I can't believe how fast they're going on your house! That's amazing and I can see why tears came to your eyes over the laundry room. Very cool. Keep the pictures coming!

Stephanie, your house is going to be so beautiful! I have to tell you that I saw the recipe for the Caramel Bars on your blog and I snagged it! Then when my aunt Gayle emailed me saying her daughter Kami made them and they were divine, I knew I couldn't wait much longer. I made it for my Mia Maids at Mutual, and they ALL LOVED THEM!!! One girl brought an extra one home for her mom, and she just called me tonight searching for the recipe! So thanks! Good luck with the house.

Steph, they seem to be going really fast on your house. Good for you guys. Laundry rooms tend to make me cry either way. Kami has now made the caramel bars 3 diff. ways. They just keep getting better. I think I might lose weight when she has her baby this week. (Maybe she'll stop making desert for about a minute).

That is really awesome! Good for you guys! How exciting that you'll be in your very own house so very soon! IS there a "construction" room where you are going to build all of your furniture?:)
