week #3

We are starting week #3 with the house. This is everything that they were able to
do this week. It's been a lot of fun being close enough to drive up there
once a week to see the progress!

This is what the lot looked like last Sunday... just footings.



This is what was going on Monday. They had the forms up and were
pouring the concrete for the basement walls.

Wednesday.
They had the forms off the walls and had delivered...

...the house!. Everything is there. The windows, doors, stairs, all the wood, even the bathtubs.
Pretty impressive that our entire house is just right there.

Friday.
They had a black tar-like stuff around the walls to seal them. Cameron liked the moat and was hoping for a drawbridge too.

This is how is all looked today (Monday). They back-filled the "moat" with dirt.
