trick-or-treating

HALLOWEEN!
When else do you get to dress up as a chick, a chicken, a mummy and Anakin Skywalker. I let the kids choose what they wanted to be for Halloween this year. Riley was watching a video about a farm, so she was on a chicken kick. Zack wanted to be a Mummy, except he really wanted to just have toilet paper
wrapped around him. Umm, no thanks! Instead, I died some fabric in coffee and let it sit for hours and then cooked it. Maren, she really was just the left overs of Riley. Coleman, he actually couldn't ever decide what he wanted to be, so he got the left overs from last year. I have already (without them knowing, of course) gone through and thrown out half of their candy. It's just better that way, then there isn't sucker drool everywhere, or "can I have a piece of candy" every 5 minutes.
These were the pumpkins that Riley and Coleman made for Riley's preschool.

I'm not going to even asked what your house smelled like after cooking the "mummy wrap" or how Zack was able to maintain his bodily functions...breathing, swallowing, etc. Maren looks stunned that you would do that to her. Riley looks like the diva she is and Coleman...what happened to being Optimus Prime. I guess Luke really does rule.

Mom, it's not "Luke" Skywalker it's "Anakin." Sheesh.

I did the same thing with the candy! We only have one trick or treaters so I can only imagine how much candy you had with multiple children!

Your kids look adorable. I love the chicken feet!

Dang all the costumes and kids in them are cute. And you just know to let fabric sit in coffee and then cook it? (no regular person knows this Steph). Once again I want you for my mom. And another thing Lindsay and Robin, Darren actually did meet Luke...back in the day.
